The Story
This homeowner had grown weary of the dated furnishings of these two existing second floor bathrooms. We gutted each of the bathrooms to the studs and ceiling and floor joists, reinforced the floor joists where necessary, blew cellulose for insulation and soundproofing, installed pocket doors for space saving, and moved walls to accommodate a larger master bath and a re-oriented bedroom closet.
The polished nickel plumbing fixtures, numerous body sprays and shower heads, mother-of-pearl door hardware, and use of glass accent tile in the shower provided elegant finishing touches to the master bathroom.
